He launched an in-company workshop called “turnaround marketing”. How to change your sales strategy so you can sell more or at a higher price.
The strategy was simple: tell companies in a 2 days’ workshop how they can improve sales and the same time sell a project or consultancy hours.
If he would have a couple of these small projects, they would perfectly fill up the time between the big projects.
So he acted like he was the absolute turnaround specialist and send out 1.500 emails with a commercial. One week later he got one phone call from a logistic company and another week later he organized his first workshop.
Again he stepped in the dark not knowing how this would end up.
